Graphic Design and Branding
I completed a Bachelor of Media Arts (Graphic Design Major) in 2011, and I’ve been working in the design industry ever since – 9 years whew! My design passion has taken me to Melbourne, Auckland, Hamilton, Raglan and for the last 3 years I’ve been a self employed freelancer. I’ve been lucky enough to work on a variety of projects, from branding, large corporate documents, to packaging and signage and everything in between. As a result I’ve worked with large corporate companies, Universities, Councils, charitable organisations, small business and start up businesses.
Website Design and Development
My long term goal has always been to be self-employed. My husband is a sheep and beef farmer (5th generation on the family farm, so I don’t see us leaving any time soon). Therefore I figured adding another skill under belt wouldn’t be a bad idea. So I went back to study and completed a Diploma in Web Design and Development in 2017. I always loved designing websites, but learning how to build websites taught me so much more about the user experience process. I love design that is creative but also functional.
Away from the office...
I ditch high heels for Red Bands and don’t mind getting my hands dirty whether it be rearing calves, baiting hooks, riding horse’s or growing my own vegetables.
